The role
As Director of Design at Eversports, I lead the design function across a complex ecosystem of consumer products, B2B software, and internal platforms for sports businesses. I work closely with product, engineering, commercial teams, and company leadership to shape strategy, clarify business goals, identify the right problems to solve, and turn complex operational requirements into coherent product experiences. This includes contributing to annual and quarterly planning, helping shape two five-year company visions, and guiding major initiatives such as the integration of Eversports and MATCHi, provider migrations, and the evolution of the next generation of Eversports Ballsport Manager. I stay closely involved in product development, helping teams refine workflows, navigate technical and business constraints, align on tradeoffs, and maintain a consistent level of quality across the product.
The work behind it
My leadership is grounded in five years of hands-on work across Eversports. I created and continue to maintain the company’s first design system, redesigned core B2C experiences including venue discovery, profiles, checkout, friends, and public matches, and led design for a major SEO initiative that substantially improved organic search performance. I later worked across B2B areas such as communication tools, widgets, branded apps, automations, and referral features. Today, I use my broad product knowledge to mentor and direct designers working on complex domains such as spot booking, private sessions, analytics, finance and compliance, teacher substitution, availability, and pricing. I also built the design team, hired four designers, interviewed hundreds of candidates, introduced a competency framework and product knowledge bases, helped shape the company’s brand guidelines, introduced AI tools and practices across the organization, and supported the delivery of Eversports’ first AI-powered product features.
